How much food should my puppy eat per day for a good feeding schedule?
When you have a puppy, it can be difficult to determine which feeding schedule to follow and how much food your puppy should get. At the bottom of each Denkadog bag is a booklet. This contains the daily recommended amount. There are two things you need to look up for the customized advice:
- Find the final weight for a male or female dog in the table below
Look up the expected adult weight of your dog (male or female) in the breed table: Denkadog Breed Table.
- Read the table to see how many grams of food your dog can eat per day.
Find the correct age in months and the final weight of your dog in the table. Now you can read the corresponding amount of grams of food per day. You can divide this over the day. This creates an ideal feeding schedule for your puppy.
